Dr. Peyman Mirshahzadeh

As a DHA licensed psychiatrist in Dubai, I provide expert psychiatric care and medication management for many expats living in the UAE. With over 8 years of experience, I diagnose and treat depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, sleep problems and somatic symptom disorders using evidence-based psychopharmacology.

I earned my Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and completed my residency in Psychiatry at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. I have worked across general hospitals, private clinics, and my own private psychiatry practice, giving me experience managing both routine care and complex, high-risk psychiatric cases.

Alongside my clinical work, I have served as a Consultant Psychiatrist within a university hospital system, organized and lectured psychiatric training workshops for physicians and medical students, and contributed to peer-reviewed research published in international journals.
